Let the aerial silks make you feel just like the foam floating on a cappuccino! Aerial yoga classes use the floor, inversions and standing poses. Traditional yoga with a twist! Great for those who need a practice to take their muscles on a taste sensation.


Aerial Yoga Lunch

Whether you work in an office or are a home engineer!


Aerial Yoga Beginners

Beginner skill level
1 hour

This is the get your feet wet and learn how to use the AERIAL silks. You will learn: 4 major ways silks can be used. The equipment and safety points. Hold contact points. You will try an inversion and a standing posture during the class. This class is the prerequisite class before you may attend Aerial Yoga 1.

While practicing Aerial Yoga, students will move through the same basic elements of a floor practice (pranayama, asanas, savasana), while utilizing the soft fabric or the aerial hammock as a prop. You will be elevated in the fabric or will use the fabric for alignment for the entire class. Some postures will involve only partial support from the silks, while others will require complete trust in the fabric as it supports 100% of the body weight. The silks assist alignment, deepens awareness and provide immediate benefits of spinal decompression.


Aerial Yoga 1

Intermediate skill level

This class builds upon the knowledge of the Aerial Yoga Beginners class. Taking the basics and applying them into flow, balances, and inversions.This class is the prerequisite class before you may attend Aerial Yoga 2.While practicing Aerial Yoga, students will move through the same basic elements of a floor practice (pranayama, asanas, savasana), while utilizing the soft fabric or the aerial hammock as a prop. You will be elevated in the fabric or will use the fabric for alignment for the entire class. Some postures will involve only partial support from the silks, while others will require complete trust in the fabric as it supports 100% of the body weight. The silks assists

Aerial Yoga 2

Advanced skill level
1 hour

There are no first-timers in the silks in this class. You must have taken the prerequisite Beginner Air and AIR 1 before attending this class. This class takes it up a notch. Students know about the silks, contact points, and basic postures. You will find longer holds, more inversions and difficulty increases.

While practicing Aerial Yoga, students will move through the same basic elements of a floor practice (pranayama, asanas, savasana), while utilizing the soft fabric or the aerial hammock as a prop. You will be elevated in the fabric or will use the fabric for alignment for the entire class. Some postures will involve only partial support from the silks, while others will require complete trust in the fabric as it supports 100% of the body weight. The silks assists alignment, deepens awareness and provides immediate benefits of spinal decompression.


Aerial Yoga Limited Mobility

Beginner skill level
1 hour

This class provides AERIAL yoga for those with limited muscle ability or speciific needs of the individual. MS, RA, Osteoarthritis, FM. There are no inversions in the class. We work to increase the ROM (range of motion) while still keeping in mind the limitations of each student. This slower paced and limited asana practice is still very focused on flexibility.

While practicing LM Aerial Yoga, students will move through some elements of a floor practice (pranayama, asanas, savasana), while utilizing the soft fabric or the aerial hammock as a prop. You will use the fabric for alignment and assistance. Some postures will involve only partial support from the hammock, some postures we will use the hammock as full support.

Before you can do an aerial class you must first have had an earth class and an intro to aerial class.

Certain medical conditions — including those listed below — may prevent you from participating in class. Please call if you have questions.

  • Glaucoma
  • Hypertension
  • Uncompensated congestive heart failure
  • Carotid artery stenosis
  • Hiatal hernia or spinal instability
  • Persons receiving anticoagulants or aspirin therapy
  • Those with a family history of cerebrovascular accidents
  • Those above age 55
  • High or low blood pressure
  • History of stroke or heart conditions of any kind
  • Pregnancy beyond the first trimester
  • Excess weight
  • Epilepsy
  • Eye problems
  • Inner ear problems
  • Other conditions – check with your doctor to make sure it’s okay for you!
